The Horus 8S subwooferis an ideal addition to the Horus 6Bcompactand Horus 11floorstanding speakers, and is an effective companion to any stereo hi-fi or home cinema system.
It is an active subwoofer with a passive "Down Firing" radiatorequipped with a 20 cm active speakerand a 20 cm passive speaker, coupled to a 150 W RMS Class D amplifier. This process provides deep, punchy bass in a very compact format.
Thanks to the use of a reinforced and nervured cellulose pulp membrane, the active & passive bass drivers demonstrate excellent power handling and excellent acoustic behaviour. This results in a generous and responsive bass.
